Christmas

December was a somewhat crazy month at our house. I was shipping items like crazy - close to 500 packages, most of them the 2 weeks before Christmas. Needless to say, I didn’t do all those Christmas-type things I wanted like baking cookies or even getting many decorations up other than the tree and a bare minimum of ornaments on it! In addition to being busy, we also had several unexpected expenses (Ava breaking her arm and some car issues). However, being busy sending packages meant we had the funds to cover the unexpected expenses, so God does take care of us! Still, it didn’t feel much like Christmas. Thankfully, we were able to get away to Maryland for Christmas where we had a fabulous time.

Making pumpkin pies with Nana

Carter loved this rocking chair and was so good at getting it going... and I love the face.

Enjoying the pie made earlier with NanaWearing Daddy’s hatI have some more pics to post, but this will have to do for now! We also visited the National Aquarium in Baltimore and I have some other random holiday pics and stories to share.
